Good Morning TGJ4M!
You will have today's class to continue preparing and filming your Unit 3: Prime Time... Radio and Television Major Project. Remember that if you will be filming outside of class, please use your class time to practise filming and plan where you will shoot. This well help you be as prepared as possible to shoot over the weekend. I will also be handing out your Unit 3: Prime Time... Radio and Television Major Project rubric.
You will each post a 200-250 response about your favourite satirical news broadcast anchor. You will discuss why he/she is your favourite and how he/she uses humour. You will also discuss if his/her use of humour/satire is ever considered distasteful or insulting and what you would consider distasteful or insulting in any satirical news broadcast. You will also describe your favourite news story and how satire was used. Feel free to add videos and pictures of your choice. This is due on MONDAY MORNING.
This is your final reminder: please email me all Unit 4: New Generation... Video Games and the Internet (ISU) drafts that have not yet been sent.
Don't forget that tomorrow is a shortened day, therefore whatever filming and editing you do not complete must be completed over the weekend. Remember that your project is "due" on MONDAY. As a group, you will make sure your project is complete and edited to your groups liking and you will present your final SATIRICAL NEWS BROADCAST for channel NASH news first thing TUESDAY morning.
I hope you all have a great graduation lunch and ceremony tomorrow. ConGRADulations!
